Santa Clarita Real Estate iPhone App with Mike Bjorkman
When you are looking to buy or sell real estate in Santa Clarita, you may not always have enough time to sit at a desktop computer to search through listings. However, if you have an iPhone, you basically are carrying a small computer in your pocket or purse that can access the Internet via Wi-Fi and cellular data networks. That’s why I’ve come out with a new, exciting Santa Clarita Real Estate iPhone app. It’s my firm belief that using the latest technology to help connect people to one another is going to dramatically change the way we do real estate transactions.
This free app runs not only on the iPhone, but also on the iPod Touch and the iPad, and it requires the iOS operating system 5.1 or later. Simply access Apple’s online App Store with your device, and then search for Santa Clarita or for my name, Mike Bjorkman. It only takes a few seconds to download, and then you’ll be able to use Santa Clarita Real Estate iPhone app to connect in real time with your local real estate market.
Browse the featured listings with the Santa Clarita Real Estate iPad app or conduct a property search in which you choose the distance to find all listings near your current location. This is ideal when you are out in your car and you want to see if there are any interesting properties in your vicinity. If you are at work or visiting someone, you can use my Real Estate iPhone app to see if there are any good properties that you might want to look at on your way home.
You can also search for homes by typing in the address or even just a part of an address, or by city or ZIP code in the Santa Clarita Real Estate iPad app. The advanced search mode enables you to look for available properties by entering MLS numbers as well as tract codes.
When you see a home that interests you but are too busy to drive out to the location for an in-person inspection, you can use the app to view it in a virtual tour. The app gives you a panoramic view of the kitchen, living room and other parts of the home so you can get a better feel for it before deciding to check it out in person.
Santa Clarita Real Estate app also takes you directly to the Mike Bjorkman YouTube channel, where you can see videos of properties that you may be interested in. The iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch all access the Internet via Wi-Fi, so you can see these videos when you’re on the go.
After you find a property that grabs your attention, use the Real Estate iPhone app to calculate the mortgage payments to help you determine if it’s the right choice for you. From there, you can use the app to connect with us on Facebook, where we will be happy to answer any questions you might have. You can also use the app to contact us directly at the office.

Hi, guys! Mike Bjorkman. Hope you’re having a fantastic day. I know some of you might be a little sick of hearing this but I don’t care! I’m still excited! I have the only real estate app in Santa Clarita that’s a real app as of today. I don’t know when you’re going to watch this, maybe a year from now, but anyway, it’s a fun app. The biggest thing about it is Search the MLS. The MLS at your fingertips, real true data. That’s really hard to find even with some of the other huge companies’ apps. They’re always wrong.
Anyway, I’m going to take you over to my iPad in a second and I’m going to walk you through it. It’s simple to download: Go to your Apple Store, type in my name, Mike Bjorkman, or Santa Clarita. It’s going to pop up. Download it and then away you go to have fun. Keeping watching the app. Keep it on your phone because we have some amazing things coming up. The programmers and coders right now are working on things that no other real estate agent has ever been able to bring to you with your phone. Have a beautiful day. Let’s go over to the iPad, okay?
Here’s the app on the iPad. I magnified it so you can see. If you look at the bottom, there’s a couple different buttons that I want you to pay attention to. Number one is the Search button. This is where you can do a property search for individual property. I have Featured Listings up there.
Oops! It wants to use my location. That’s how it knows where you are to find homes close. There are Featured Listings, which are my listings, and Contact Us button. At the bottom down there, when the buttons go away, is a link to our web site. You can scroll through my listings at the top, which is kind of cool, or click on Property Search. What’s really unique about here is you could search by tract code, MLS number, key words, and even region, so that’s kind of neat.
The second thing I wanted to point out is the Facebook. This is my Facebook business page so you don’t get a bunch of pictures of my kids and dogs on there but there’s some links to valuable listings, other blogs, and you might want to check that out. If you’re referring somebody that doesn’t know me, this might be a really good opportunity to introduce me. Here’s our You Tube link. We have a lot of valuable listings as well as videos on You Tube.
A lot of people, when they look to hire an agent, they want to get to know the agent a little better so this is our entire link with almost all of our videos. You’re more than welcome to check that out at any time. That’s a good way to keep in touch with people and our listings. You could watch our introductory videos, that kind of thing. That’s about that.
Let’s hit ‘Done.’ Now, virtual tours. Virtual tours from Tour Factory are really important for me because they stand out so nice and it’s a really good way to scroll through our active listings. Here’s a foreclosure right here that I have up in Castaic. We’ll click on that. Did I click on it? Yeah, I clicked on it.
The new iPad app from Tour Factory, the iPad interphase or whatever you want to call it is absolutely stunning. The pictures come out beautiful, if it’ll come up. Watch this. You just simply scroll through the photos like that and they’re big and they’re nice. If you want info, you get the Property Info, the Property Description, Contact Me, Map This Property, and School Info. What do you think about that? Pretty cool app, huh?
We can now move on to the More button. There’s a contact page. If you push that number, you can go ahead and get hold of me. This is always fun. Mortgage calculator. Everybody always asks, “Hey! How much are the payments if I buy this house?”
